Check them out and download them all while they are free. A huge thanks to Every Day Mathematics for recognizing teachers! Monster Squeeze is great for preK-1, and I think Tric Trac is fun. The other games work on addition and subtraction and addition and division. Quick before the week is over...

Loving all your posts, sue! I love to check for updates everyday. Keep it up!:)
ReplyDeleteHello Sue, my name is Bethany and I am very excited to have found your blog! My friend and I have been teaching a combination art history/art class to kids ages 3, 4, and 5 and we are considering taking our classes and creating an app. We start the school year with prehistoric art and end the year with modern art. In each class we show a powerpoint presentation with slides of each week's topic and then the kids do a corresponding art class that matches the topic. For example, the first class is prehistoric cave painting and then the kids use their hands to paint on paper that is taped to the wall. Our app would have the slide show, and then the parent or teacher could have the art project separate from the iPad. Do you think this is a good idea that teachers might like? Thanks!
